He is among the very few Indians to have received formal Subspecialty training in Shoulder Surgery in centers of excellence in France and US. He is the first Indian to have been formally trained in procedures like Arthroscopic Latarjet, Arthroscopic Suprascapular Nerve release and Reverse Shoulder Replacement. He is the first and the only Indian to be trained for more than 1 Year with the world-renowned Shoulder Surgeon, Dr. Laurent Lafosse and 2 months with Dr. Gilles Walch in France. Thus he has been trained in procedures like All-Arthroscopic Latarjet and open Latarjet, All-Arthroscopic Rotator cuff repair, Arthroscopic Suprascapular nerve release, Arthroscopic Acromio-clavicular reconstruction, All-Arthroscopic Weaver-Dunn procedure, Total Anatomic Shoulder Replacement and Reverse Shoulder Replacement.
